Serena Jameka Williams (born September 26th, 1981)[1] is an American professional tennis player who is inactive. Williams was the world's number. one tennis player and is widely recognized as one of the top. The women's Tennis Association (WTA), put her as No. 1 singles player for 319 consecutive weeks. The next few years saw her take home two more singles majors, but suffer from injury and decline in form. In 2007, she began to regain her fitness, despite ongoing injuries. 1 singles ranking.
