While most famous for her performance as Isabella "Bella" Swan in The Twilight (2008) Saga, Kristen Stewart has been active in the field from the beginning of her time in Los Angeles, California. Her parents, John Stewart and Jules Stewart are both actors in television and film. Kristen is a sister to Cameron Stewart, and her adopted brothers are Dana Stewart and Taylor. Kristen is of English, Scottish, and Ashkenazi Jewish descent.After a talent scout caught her grade school performance in a play , at the age of eight, she made her debut on TV in a couple of minor roles. Her first role was in The Safety of Objects (2001) as Sam Jennings. Shortly after she was cast as Sam Jennings in The Security of Objects (2001). The film was nominated for an award called a Young Artist Award for her performance in Panic Room. Even though the film didn't perform well at the box-office, she was nominated for another Young Artist Award.
