Lil Wayne

 Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. is also well-known by the name Lil Wayne. He is an American hip-hop artist who has won the Grammy Award. Beginning his professional career at age nine, with 'Cash Money Records', Wayne became part of the American hip-hop duo of teenagers 'The B.G. 'z' with rapper Lil' Doogie. After a couple of years, he was a part of the American hip-hop group 'Hot Boy' with Young Turk, Juvenile and Lil' Doogie, who is now known as B.G. The group gained acclaim through the hit single 'Bling Bling in the Bling Bling' and the album that sold platinum "Guerrilla Warfare". The album he released on his own "Tha Block Is Hot,' was released in the same year. It received a platinum certification from the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). .
