Natasha Henstridge

 Natasha Henstridge, born August 15th 1974, was raised in Springdale, Newfoundland. Famous for movies such as Species (1995) and The Whole Nine Yards (2000) She began her career as a model in Paris, France at the young age of fifteen. After moving to Paris, she began modeling in the highly-competitive Paris fashion scene She was able to land her first magazine cover in French Cosmopolitan and graced the front pages of numerous international fashion magazines. She also appeared in commercials for Oil of Olay, Lady Stetson and Old Spice. Natasha at just 19 years old at the time, embraced acting as a challenge and was chosen for the starring part in the sci-fi thriller Species (1995) along with Sir Ben Kingsley, Forest Whitaker. It was a huge success both commercially and critically. Natasha received praises for her performance as the genetically altered Sil and an MTV Award. It was not until the Hitchcock period had anyone redefined the term "femme fatale" for a new generation. It was the beginning of a career in film which has seen more than 35 films.
