Sara Evans

 Sara Lynn Evans (/se@r@/; February 5, 1971)[2][1]is an American country music singer/songwriter. She is also an actor, record producer, and writer. Five of her tracks reached the top of the Billboard chart of country songs. She has also sold more than six million albums. Three more singles made it to the Billboard Country Chart's top ten with songs like "I Couldn't Request More", "I Keep Looking" or "Cheatin'". "Saints & Angels", Backseat of a Greyhound Bus", and "As If" are among the top 20 charting singles. 4 She was given praises from the Academy of Country Music as in addition to the Country Music Association. She has also been nominated for a variety of other awards from both associations such as Female Vocalist of the Year as well as Single of the Year.Evans was born in New Franklin, Missouri and began performing with her siblings in the Evans Family Band. The band played throughout her childhood and teens in her local area. Evans along with her brother Matt and Evans started their own band in her teens. They moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1991 and pursued their dream of becoming country music stars. In Nashville, Evans met her first husband Craig Schelske and briefly moved to Aumsville, Oregon before returning to Nashville. Evans went back to Nashville and found work as a singer demo which led to her signing a record agreement with RCA Records. In 1997, she released her debut album Three Chords and the Truth. No Place That Far (1998) was released in 1998. The second single with the same title was a top-selling Billboard country chart hit.
