Alicia Silverstone

 Amanda Drury, an Australian journalist and anchor for CNBC is a news anchor who hosts programming in business and finance in New York City. She was born on May 5, 1973. She was the co-host of Street Signs, the US version of Street Signs until its end on February 6, 2015. She also has been featured on other CNBC shows as an expert in financial and business.Drury was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. [citation required] She received an associate's degree in fine arts, Japanese as well as French from the University of Melbourne. She also attended the Australian Film, Television, and Radio School.Drury began working in Japan in international relations. Her broadcasting career began in radio before switching to TV , working for Bloomberg in Tokyo from 1999 until 2000. CNBC hired her in January 2001 , and she spent eight years at the Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore. In 2009, she was based at CNBC Sydney. She was then transferred to CNBC's global headquarters in New Jersey in May 2010. Drury's first position at CNBC USA was as the co-ancho for the show "The Call". Drury has been on different CNBC programs and segments. In March 2011, she was named co-presenter on The Call (US Version). She was also a finalist in the 2008 and 2007 Asian Television Awards in category of Best News Presenter.
