 Alicia Silverstone (/@lI'si:@born on October 4 1976) is an American actress. Her film debut was in the thriller The Crush (1993), winning the 1994 MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance, and was further recognized at age 16 as a teen idol when she appeared in the music video for Aerosmith's "Cryin'". She then starred in the role of Cher Horowitz in the teen comedy film Clueless (1995) and resulted in a multi-million-dollar contract with Columbia Pictures. She played Batgirl in the 1997 big-budget superhero movie Batman & Robin. In 1995, Silverstone was nominated for an award called a Golden Globe for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy. Silverstone continues to perform on television and film. She is a vegan, and was born in San Francisco. She is the daughter of Deirdre Silverstone (nee Radford) who was a former Pan Am flight attendant from Scotland and Monty Silverstone, an English agent. [4][5] She was raised in Hillsborough, California. Her father was born into an ethnically Jewish family. Her mother was converted to Conservative Judaism after she married. Silverstone was a participant in a Bat Mitzvah ceremony.She began modeling when she was just six years old, and was later cast in TV commercials. The first was for Domino's Pizza.She attended Crocker Middle School, then San Mateo High School.Sharon Elizabeth Lawrence (born June 29, 1961)is an American actress. She was a part of the ABC drama, NYPD Blue, from 1993 until 1999. The show was awarded three Emmys from the Primetime Television Network: Screen Actors Guild Award, Outstanding Supporting Actress, Drama Series and Satellite Award for Best Actress, Television Series Drama. For her roles on television following NYPD Blue, Lawrence was nominated for three Emmy Awards. In 2001, she appeared on CBS' supernatural drama Wolf Lake and in 2007 on the CW's teen drama Hidden Palms. Lawrence was notable for her recurring roles in Desperate Housewives and Drop Dead Diva as well as Rizzoli and Isles's Queen Sugar, Shameless, Shameless, The Ranch, Shameless, and Rizzoli & Isles. Gossip (2001), Middle of Nowhere (2012), and Solace (2015) are a few of her film credits. In 2021, she started acting in the Paramount+ neo-Western series, Jo Pickett.Lawrence was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. She moved from Charlotte to Raleigh in her junior year of high school and graduated from Needham B. Broughton High School. She was a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in journalism in 1983.
